Aureus Energy is Hiring a HSE Administrator Near Midland, TX

Aureus is a busy and growing Water Management company in Midland, Texas. We are looking for a HSE Administrator to join our Team to support our safety-first mindset.

Role

  • Reporting to the HSE department, the HSE Admin’s main responsibilities are to support to the HSE Department and Operations. The HSE Administrator ensures that safety data is kept up and activities are conducted in a manner that is safe and in compliance to company, regulatory requirements and industry best practices. This position is full-time, Monday to Friday in the Midland, TX office.

Job duties:

  • Responsible for managing data entry for the HSE department
  • Promote a culture of personal responsibility and commitment toward the environment, safety and health, and champion Aureus’ safety culture.
  • Ensure the safety management system is implemented and functioning within the designated region.
  • Educate and mentor personnel on their application of Aureus MV2, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements, ensuring that HSE remains a key focus at the operational level.
  • Participate with safety meetings, pre-job planning meetings, and safety training.
  • Support the Operations & HR.
  • Promote the awareness of hazard identification, elimination and control.
  • Ensure all elements of Aureus’ HSE process and programs are met to maintain regulatory compliance with a goal of an incident and injury free workplace.
  • Remain current and knowledgeable of OSHA legislation, industry best practices, and other Health & Safety Regulations.
  • Keep track of inventory/recordkeeping of ppe.
  • Compile and send out Hazard Identification report weekly.
  • Compile and email compliance reports weekly, ISN and Veriforce stats, Workhub stats.
  • Hazard ID entries
  • Incident report entries
  • Collaboration on presentation preparations for Audits
  • Ensure all necessary training is implemented to personnel and maintained.
  • Other duties as required.

Job Requirements:

Experience & Training

  • Current safety tickets (First Aid & H2S)
  • Highschool Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1-2 years experience working in HSE or related field an asset
  • 1-3 years experience in Oil and Gas industry
  • Knowledge of OSHA legislation an asset
  • Knowledge of Work Hub/Safety Sync software would be considered an asset
  • Excellent data entry skills
  • Certification in HSE an asset
  • Proven organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications; Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Skills & Expectations

  • Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Must be a driven and motivated individual able to lead by example.
  • Must present oneself in a professional manner, arrive on time and be able to work during full office hours.
  • Willing to comply with all safety policies and procedures
  • Willing to comply with Aureus’ drug & alcohol-free and harassment-free work environment
  • Willing to work in a diverse and team-oriented environment
  • Responsible to maintain a high level of data accuracy and consistency within the system
