Job Summary:

Join the Chicago's oldest Pizza chain since 1959. Aurelio’s® is looking to hire Servers for 2-4 shifts per week. Looking for someone to mainly work floor server shifts and pick up/ cover bartending shifts if needed. Applicants with a demonstrated work history in serving will be prioritized. Wine and liquor knowledge is a plus. Weekend night availability is preferred.

We are looking for self-starters, creative, motivated, kind, and hospitable candidates with strong work and self-awareness.

Qualified candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Minimum of 1 year of restaurant experience
• Strong general knowledge of food and food preparation (experience with Italian or Pizzeria restaurants preferred)
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays, etc.)
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Familiar with at least one POS (Toast preferred)
• Able to take direction well from restaurant managers
• Strong communication skills and solid teamwork
• Bring your positive attitude and energy!

Job Duties Include:

• Restaurant service steps knowledge
• Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all of our guests.
• Prepare items needed for the day in the beginning/during and at the end of each shift.
• Maintain clean service areas.
• Be available to work serving shifts as well as bar shifts if needed
• Monitor and observe guests' dining experience.
• Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
• Be ready and willing to assist co-workers as situations arise.
• Willing to assist with clearing and resetting tables.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager.
• Handle cash transactions accurately.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
