Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, load, and unload materials in a warehouse or production environment. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will contribute to the efficient operation of our facility.

Duties:
- Operate a forklift to move materials within the warehouse or production area
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper placement and securement of items
- Perform routine inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance or repair needs
- Utilize warehouse management system to track inventory and locate items
- Assist with order picking and packing as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

- Sometimes work production floor during breaks

Skills:
- Experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations
- Proficient in operating a forklift and other heavy equipment
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on the forklift
- Ability to lift heavy 50# objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus
