Position Description
Provides technical support for pharmacy operations in accordance with The Georgia State Board of Pharmacy, The JointCommission, DEA, USP 797, and any other regulatory and accrediting agencies. Acts in accordance with protocols,health-system policies and procedures, applicable standards, and pharmacy best practices. Responsible for furthering thehospital's mission of education. Essential to customer service for other healthcare disciplines and our patients.

Position Requirements
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization. Exceptional organizational skills, strong interpersonal/communication skills and customer service focus; attention to detail, ability to multitask and prioritize, math and computer proficiency. CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) acquired from PTCB or NHA, or Licensed Intern. GA or SC Pharmacy Technician License depending on job location

Preferred Requirements
2 years or more of experience as a pharmacy technician (aseptic compounding, hospital practice).
