Position Description
The Medical Office Coordinator ensures the smooth operation of a medical practice by providing front office administrative support. This role also provides patient support by way of scheduling appointments and assisting with various inquiries.
Position Requirements
High School Diploma or GED and 2 years or more of experience in administrative healthcare setting. Skills required: Strong computer, data entry and office management skills. Ability to multi-task and succeed in busy environment. Basic accounting and math skills. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Organized.
Preferred Requirements
Associates Degree. 3 years or more of experience in medical office administration. Knowledge of medical terms and technology. Proficient in IDX and PowerChart. Medical billing.
