August Catering & Events is a boutique catering company located in the heart of NYC. We offer our clients special events big and small, and we focus on elegantly presented, delicious, inventive food.
Job Summary:
We are a boutique catering company seeking a few very experienced Freelance Event Chefs to join our team. Both Lead Chef and Assistant Chef positions available. You will be responsible for preparing food on-site at catering events. Lead Chefs will also be fully responsible for running back-of-house operations and managing the Assistant Chefs. Must have excellent communication skills with clients and with Management, must be very punctual, and can work with flexible hours. We have a regular corporate client and can offer the right person consistent work that will also allow you to take other freelance jobs. Hiring ASAP.
*Must have previous catering experience at a high-end caterer, preferably in Manhattan.
*Culinary degree is preferred but not required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
