Audubon Companies is Hiring a Project Administrator Near Midland, TX

Audubon is currently seeking a Project Administrator to join our team in our Midland, TX office.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Participate in training on company-specific and industry-standard project controls tools and software (ex. Primavera P6 scheduling software)
  • Assist Project Managers to prepare routine project cost and progress reports using company OR client tools
  • Work interactively with project team members to accurately maintain & update cost and schedule.
  • Review contractor change orders for accuracy based on progress reports from internal project team.
  • Assist with reconciliation of all commitments and expenditures with financial controls.
  • Review internal charges and cost reports against project plan to assure proper invoicing to client.
  • Interface with discipline personnel for rules of credit / earned value.
  • Assist Midland Business Unit Manager with administrative tasks necessary to daily operation of the Midland office.
  • Assist Midland Business Unit Manager with dissemination of corporate information and memo's to Midland employees.
  • Provide support for Project Managers with administrative duties as-needed (ex. Internal Team Meeting Notes, procurement of project/company materials).
  • Data entry of expense reports & receipts as-needed.
  • Assist Engineers & Designers with creation/revision of project deliverables (drawing packages, lists, matrixes, etc.)

Experience and Skill Requirements

  • Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Experience and/or knowledge in the use of automated accounting and cost management systems and scheduling software such as Primavera Project manager and Microsoft Project is preferred.
  • Must possess strong computer skills in the area of spreadsheets, word processing and presentation software.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required, including Pivot Tables for analysis of data.
