We are looking for a full-time Install Technician II in the Broward County area! 

The Installation Technician II will be responsible for programming and installing Audio Enhancement products in educational institutions. Duties include testing product performance and resolving any technical problems encountered during installation.

Duties Include

• Installing Audio Enhancement equipment, such as speakers, amplifiers, network devices cameras ect. 
• Installation of 70v Systems.
• Pulling and routing speaker wires, CAT6 cables ect. In Schools or other environments.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Terminating and punching down networking cables. 
• Strives to meet deadlines and help motivate team members to do the same. 
• Assist Field Engineers and Managers in commissioning and other field work.
• Help keep job sites clean.
• Complete reports for all projects and communicate with stakeholders.
• Travel as needed to work sites for extended periods from 2-4 weeks.

Requirements

• Strong deduction and problem-solving skills.
• 2 years installation experience required or equivalent experience in access control or low voltage installations. 
• Experience with cable pulling/ structured cabling installations. 
• Proficient in cable termination and testing procedures. 
• Understanding of audio-visual equipment, electrical work, etc. preferred
• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and work in various physical environments.
• Proficient with hand tools and comfortable with tasks like climbing ladders and working in tight spaces.
• Ability to read and understand maps, diagrams and schematics 
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including late afternoons and evenings.
• Valid driver’s license 
• Knowledge of installation standards and codes.
• Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Teams.
• Knowledge of computer networking.
• Ability to work independently or with a team.
• Have own power tools and basic low voltage hand tools or being able to provide preferred 
• Flexible scheduling with ability to work overnights or early morning. 
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Compensation and Benefits:

Hourly wage is negotiable based on skill level and experience.
