FLS is looking for a Field Service Engineer based in the Southwestern US to focus on our KREBS pumps and cyclones.

By joining the Pumps, Cyclones and Valve's (PCV) organization within FLS, you are joining an extremely dynamic, exciting, and rapidly growing product line.

You will be supported by your manager and peers, contributing to the team's goal of maintaining and growing the installed PCV equipment in the Southwestern US.

Job scope

• Visit mine sites and customers in Southwestern US
• Support Sales Engineers with site visits to troubleshoot process and mechanical issues with our Pumps, Cyclones and Valves.
• Identify needs in existing equipment to communicate with Sales Engineers and sell the FLS solutions, as well as new opportunities to replace competitors and install our equipment.
• Prepare professional, clean, and organized reports to present to Sales and Customers.
• Present mechanical and process training to customers, on Pumps, Cyclones and Valves
• Role will also support Eastern US Sales team on an as needed basis

What you bring

• College degree BS or BA OR 8 years mechanical experience
• 3 years of experience as a Sales Engineer and/or in a Field Service Engineer role
• Significant experience and knowledge working with pumps and cyclones in the mining industry
• Experience in effectively interfacing with clients and gaining credibility; developing and implementing project-specific sales strategies.
• Strong communication skills
• Respect for deadlines and works independently to reach them.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• This position is based in the SW US
