WQMG-FM Greensboro/Winston-Salem/High Point is looking for a part time gospel announcer for its weekday “Today’s Praise” and Gospel Flight ‘97 Sunday show. Do you possess creativity and initiative with a love for Gospel music? Do you have an excellent on-air voice with a demonstrated track record? Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

• Create original content and performing live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative.
• Participate and create original content for all social media platforms; managing online personality presence
• Protect the station’s FCC license
• Monitor the music and commercial logs for the airshift
• Ensure that promotions and contests are executed properly
• Operate the control board and perform production work
• Must be able to work weekends, nights and holidays as this job may require it
• Other duties as required by management

Qualifications

Required & Preferred:

• Must be familiar with gospel music
• Experience with Wide Orbit Automation system, Adobe Audition, and Vox Pro
• Minimum 3 years on-air experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Majority of work day will be spent sitting at broadcast board, speaking into a microphone and manipulating board controls.
