As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Lawn Mowing: Perform regular lawn mowing services using professional equipment, ensuring precise and even cuts. Maintain knowledge of various grass types and adjust cutting height accordingly. Trim grass edges for a neat and polished appearance.

Lawn Edging: Skillfully edge lawns along driveways, walkways, flower beds, and other landscape features to create clean lines and enhance the overall aesthetics of the property.

Herbicide Spraying: Apply herbicides and pesticides to control weeds, pests, and diseases in lawns and landscapes. Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while using chemicals and ensure proper record-keeping.

Yard Cleanups: Conduct comprehensive yard cleanups, including debris removal, weeding, and pruning. Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.

Leaf Cleanups: Perform efficient and thorough leaf removal services during the fall season. Utilize appropriate tools and equipment to collect, bag, and dispose of leaves properly.

Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain all lawn maintenance equipment, ensuring they are in proper working condition. Report any malfunctions or issues to the supervisor promptly.

Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction. Maintain a friendly and respectful demeanor while working on client properties.

Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself, fellow team members, and customers. Properly handle and store chemicals and equipment to prevent accidents and injuries.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in lawn maintenance, including mowing, edging, herbicide spraying, yard cleanups, and leaf cleanups, is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of different grass types, their optimal cutting heights, and maintenance requirements.
• Familiarity with herbicides, pesticides, and their proper application techniques.
• Ability to operate and maintain lawn maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and sprayers.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Good communication skills and a customer-centric mindset.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Duties:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns
- Maintain and repair landscape features such as flower beds, shrubs, and trees
- Assist with snow plowing and removal during winter months
- Build and maintain hardscape elements such as walkways, patios, and retaining walls
- Operate power tools and hand tools to complete maintenance tasks
- Ensure proper care and storage of all equipment

Experience:

- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related field preferred
- Knowledge of tree trimming techniques and best practices
- Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
