Job Description The Position Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, this position will initially have the opportunity to interact with various Albemarle global support groups and have the ability to gain invaluable commissioning and start-up experience. Post-commissioning this position will provide support to both scheduled and reactive maintenance services to the plant operations and comply with the systems and procedures to facilitate continuous improvement in the utilization of assets. Key Responsibilities Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with site health, safety, environmental and community policies, systems and procedures. Responding to plant outages and equipment faults in a timely manner to maximize plant availability and safety. Ensure work is executed to the highest standard and history is recorded in the relevant maintenance recording system for future reference. Initiate creation and updates to work procedures and instructions to ensure they are accurate and effective. Reporting of incidents in a timely manner and participate in analysis and investigations as required. Build strong relationships with the Operational, Reliability and Planning Teams to support the delivery of quality maintenance and equipment availability. Working with our internal/external customers to support feedback and continual improvement. Work Experience / Technical Skill Requirements Demonstrated commitment to occupational health and safety, continuous improvement, and teamwork. Sound problem-solving skills and fault-finding experience with the ability to respond to changing priorities. Extensive fixed plant/industrial maintenance experience 5 years associated with Kilns, Ball Mills, Belt Filters, (Plate) Filter Presses, Centrifuges, Conveyors, Boilers, Pumps, and other fixed plant equipment. Demonstrated experience with Industrial level welding and other associated tasks. Commitment to diversity and inclusion. A proactive approach to resolving issues and excellent attention to detail. Computer literacy and excellent communication skills. Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills. Understanding of Management of Change and Work Management Processes. Knowledge and understanding of SAP systems is desirable. Previous commissioning experience would be highly regarded. Demonstrated experience with shop drawings/P&IDs, Isometrics. Support work management processes through efficient defect reporting, adequate scoping of corrective works and accurate confirmation of execution activities. Support commissioning requirements. Education / Qualification Requirements Australian recognized trade qualification in boiler making / fabrication. Current nationally accredited Confined Space Ticket. Current nationally accredited Working at Heights Ticket. Current high-risk qualifications are highly regarded (Forklift, Elevated Work Platform, Rigging, Crane). Current WA C Class Driver’s License as a minimum. Any previous qualifications in structural / pipe welding.
