Job Description

As a Sr. DevOps Engineer, you will be a team member on our infrastructure team to manage and maintain critical platform built on a 24x7, highly available architecture. We are critical infrastructure for our customers, so your work matters to our business. We value simplicity over complexity - both in design and communication.

• Azure infrastructure management, including but not limited to: compute, Storage, Relational and non-relation databases, Elastic search, Elastic Cache, VNet, Cloud Monitoring, API Gateway, and WAF.
• Maintaining and enhancing Terraform and Jenkins automation and deployment platforms.
• Managing the Production and non-production environments.
• Maintaining and maturing our continuous integration and release pipelines.
• Troubleshooting production issues and assisting in remediation fixes.
• Establishing, maintaining, and testing DR and BCP procedures.
• Assisting in facilitating future maintenance and enhancements.

Required Skills:

• You have minimum of 8-12 years of experience in full life-cycle implementation of Azure services, Ansible automation, and Jenkins CI and familiarity with continuous integration and release management methodologies in an agile development environment.
• You have experience with Terraform and Ansible/K8s Automation.
• You have a basic understanding of Ruby, Python, or Bash scripting.
• You are opinionated about what you build and offer constructive criticism on things you didn’t.
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Technical skills:

• Configuration of regulatory based critical applications for continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.
• Hands on experience using DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Jira, Git, Terraform, Ansible to enable rapid application deployment and increase the productivity of business teams.
• Expertise in DevOps tool chain.
• Experience in cloud automation with Terraform, Ansible with providers like Azure & On-prem.
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages, such as Java or Python
• Expert in Groovy, JSON, Ansible playbooks, Shell scripting.
