Full Time Year Round - $18 per hour - No Drug Test Required - No Experience Required

*Greenhouse Sanitation Associate: four day work week - 11:30am-10:00pm, rotating schedule*

Greenhouse Sanitation Associate Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning of machinery, including assembling and disassembling of specific equipment, at the end of product run.
• Maintain cleaning and packing logs in compliance with food safety and safety regulations.
• Sweep, clean and squeegee floors in greenhouse.
• Clean and maintain irrigation lines in the greenhouse.
• Prepare the production floor for preoperational inspection.
• Ability to stand for duration of shift
• Other duties as assigned

Greenhouse Sanitation Associate Experience, Skills and Abilities

• 1 year of related experience in a food manufacturing or agricultural environment preferred but not required

• Detail oriented and organized.
• Ability to follow instructions, cooperate and collaborate with all employees and management. Collaboration is key to keeping our team united.

Greenhouse Sanitation Associate Working conditions

This is a manual labor position in all areas of the greenhouse. Employees will have some exposure to seasonal conditions which may range from extreme heat and humidity in the summer to cold in the winter. Often working near moving mechanical parts. There will be exposure to cleaning chemicals. The noise level of machines and cooling units can be loud.

Greenhouse Sanitation Associate Physical requirements

While performing the duties of this job, employees are expected to constantly use hands to finger, handle or feel, as well as talk and hear. There is frequent standing, walking, reaching with hands and arms, as well as stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing. The lifting requirements to occasionally lift to 25 pounds, and on a rotating basis constantly lift up to 10 pounds. The employee should have clear correctable vision at close and distance range, as well as peripheral vision to notice safety hazards.
