Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, project management, and construction estimating. If you have a passion for accurately pricing projects and ensuring cost control, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely estimates for projects in the construction industry
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the overall cost
- Utilize software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam for estimating purposes
- Build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to negotiate pricing
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate project bids
- Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction process
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
- Proven experience in construction estimating and project management
- Proficiency in HeavyBid software or similar estimating tools
- Ability to negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
