Our client is an international Aerospace company that designs and manufactures light plates, integrated switch panels, and control planes used in aircraft flight decks.

Summary

Inspects, audits, and reports on materials, processes, and products used in the construction of aircraft components using variable or attribute measuring instruments and techniques to ensure conformance with the company’s quality standards. This job reports to the Quality Inspection Supervisor or Quality Assurance Manager.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections of newly designed or revised products, and In-process inspection of parts being manufactured.
• incoming products to ensure proper paperwork is received and parts conform to specifications, engineering, and manufacturing orders.
• Sub-assemblies used in the construction of aircraft.
• Equipment used to manufacture and inspect aircraft components. Interprets and reads engineering drawings, and company and customer specifications to ensure accurate part manufacturing.
• Perform first article sample part inspections and report findings.
• Monitors approved processes and procedures used to ensure product Quality
• Supports operations and engineering personnel with quickly resolving quality-related issues.
• Tasks may vary slightly based on products produced at the division.

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1 - 3 years minimum experience within a quality environment.
• Computer Skill: Familiar with Windows Operating System®.
• Qualified candidates must possess the ability to use precision measuring instruments. Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical literature is preferred.
• Must be comfortable passing drug testing and background checking

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
