Responsibilities of the Warehouse Associate include, but are not limited to:

• Unloading incoming deliveries
• Check product received for accuracy against vendor paperwork and DXP PO
• Tag items with DXP Item IDs and Order Numbers
• Stage product in racking and record bin locations in ERP system
• Pull shop order pulls as needed
• Inventory control and consolidation
• Operating forklift and reach truck
• Coordinate via phone or email with inside sales team to solve issues as needed

Qualifications of the Warehouse Associate include, but are not limited to:

• 1 year of previous warehouse experience preferred
• Prior computer experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Data entry skills, organization, and multi-tasking is required
• Strong attention to detail
• Self-motivated
• Forklift certification preferred

Physical Demand: Ability to lift, slide and lower packages that typically weigh 5 lbs.-10 lbs. and may weigh up to 50 lbs.
Working Conditions: Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment
Training/Certifications: Forklift certification is a plus.
Shift Time/Overtime: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, possible overtime
Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
