Atwater's is Hiring a Server/Barista Near Baltimore, MD
Position Overview:
As a Server, you will be responsible to provide an excellent food experience for Atwater’s customer by performing all customer service functions at Atwater’s. You will also be required to ensure a positive company image by providing, “service that makes your day” to customers and staff members.
Availability: 30 - 40 hrs/week
- Mon - Sun 7am - 3pm
Responsibilities(include but not limited to):
- Make sure all customers are being take care of and that the counter and dining area are always clean and visually pleasing.
- Educate customers to get familiar and know our seasonal menu and products.
- Assist customers in a timely manner and make sure not forgetting the customer who are waiting in-line or in the dining area.
- Use proper signage for displays for products.
- Make sure customer orders are right for both carry-out and dining orders.
- Use the POS system for ordering, customer check out, and handling of tenders.
- Answer telephone calls and transfer to the appropriate department when required with excellent phone etiquette.
- Follow and comply with health and sanitation procedures and adheres to safe work practices.
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisors/managers.
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Able to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
- Able to educate and sell proactively to customers.
- Able to follow instructions and procedures.
- Able to work independently.
- Basic food knowledge.
Stand and walk for extended period of time.
