Position Summary:
The Workforce EducationInstructor and Clinical Coordinator for Physical Therapy Assistant at ATU Ozarkprovides leadership and effective instruction in the PTA program. The position responsibilities includeclassroom, clinical, and lab instruction, maintenance of classroom records,advisement of students, service on campus committees, leadership in the PTAprogram including student recruitment and program excellence, communicationwith representatives in the field, and adherence to accreditationstandards. The position reports to theChief Academic Officer.

Essential Duties andResponsibilities:
- Provide development,organization, management, and instruction of the program.
- Provide support and leadershipto establish goals (short and long term) and anticipate future needs for theprogram that comply with the mission and vision of the College, department, andhealth care profession.
- Provide quality instruction toensure compliance with program outcomes.
- Support the implementation andanalysis of recommendations from the Advisory Committee.
-Participate in and uphold allprofessional duties including attendance at meetings, meeting deadlines, etc.

Knowledge, Skills, andAbilities:
Contemporary working knowledge of Physical Therapy profession and practice

Knowledge of Career and TechEducation

Strong time management, organizational, and public speaking skills

Strong interpersonal skills, verbal and written communications skills, and computer skills

Ability to work in a team setting and demonstrate a growth mindset

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (occasionally)
