ATTAINX INC is Hiring a Knowledge Management Librarian Near Herndon, VA
Job Title: Knowledge Management Librarian
Location: Hybrid (local to D.C., Maryland, and Virginia)
Travel: Required Est. 10-15%
Citizenship: US Citizen
AttainX, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Knowledge Management Librarian to join our team as we sustain and develop new enhancements for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology (S&T) Directorate Knowledge Management and Program Support Services (KMPSS).
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree.
- 3-10 years of relevant experience.
- Supports the development and maintenance of SharePoint library, information, management plans, processes, repositories, and systems.
- Organizes, maintains, tracks, and files documentation in electronic formats.
- Maintains document version control and configuration management. Evaluates documentation, specifications, reports, and presentations.
- Outlines and develops technical documentation detailing the design, development, testing, installation, and maintenance of systems and processes.
- Develops databases that extracts and interprets data from the repositories.
- Have or the ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MA/MS preferred but not required
Duties:
The Knowledge Management Librarian is responsible for overseeing all Knowledge Management aspects of the project.
- Supports the development and maintenance of effective information management plans, processes, repositories, and systems.
- Organizes, maintains, tracks, and files documentation in electronic formats. Maintains document version control and configuration management.
- Evaluates documentation, specifications, reports, and presentations.
- Outlines and develops technical documentation detailing the design, development, testing, installation, and maintenance of systems and processes.
- Develops databases that extracts and interprets data from the repositories.
