Job Duties:
Under the supervision and direction of the Billing Manager you will be responsible for the following:
You will be responsible for contacting Insurances and setting up EFT/ERA logins as well as website access to Payers.
You will work closely with a Team ensuring that all of our clients have the necessary access to the Payers.
Perform customer service functions, various billing functions, processing, monitoring and following up of Patient Accounts in accordance with third party regulations.
Answers all incoming inquiries on all accounts and take the appropriate action to ensure that all issues are addressed.
Makes patient calls on Self pay and No Fault accounts to ascertain insurance information or make payment arrangements.
Maintain and keeps accurate files and logs for patient and insurance telephone calls, correspondence, bills, rejections, etc.
Expresses clearly verbally or by written correspondence to patients, third party payers and outside agencies In response to inquiries.
