Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to join our growing team with a focus on playing a key role in the successful execution of ground-up retail projects. Your responsibilities will encompass all aspects of project management, from initial concept through due diligence, design/planning, permitting, construction, and delivery. This role demands a seasoned professional with a keen eye for detail, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants, to achieve project milestones and objectives.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues to minimize disruptions and delays.
  • Financial Management: Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure cost-effective resource allocation while maintaining financial transparency.
  • Quality Control: Implement rigorous quality control processes to ensure that projects meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with stakeholders, keeping them informed of project progress and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, obtaining necessary permits and approvals.
  • Construction Management: Ensure General Contractors and Subcontractors are building to quality, schedule, and budget. 
  • Reporting: Generate regular project reports, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement.
  • Client Satisfaction: Foster strong client relationships by delivering exceptional service, addressing client needs, and exceeding their expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial real estate development, civil engineering, construction, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing ground-up retail development projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, codes, and regulations.
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset.
  • PMP or similar certification is a plus.
