Essential Functions:
Conducts physical assessments and evaluates patients' nutritional needs based on departmental and evidence-based standards.
Participates in interdisciplinary clinical rounds and programs to enhance nutrition care and patient outcomes.
Applies current literature and evidence-based guidelines to deliver competent and appropriate nutritional care.
Contributes to continuous improvement in patient outcomes and care services to achieve hospital and departmental goals.
Provides nutrition information to healthcare professionals, students, patients, caregivers, and the community to promote optimal health.
Ensures age/developmentally appropriate patient care.
Delivers timely nutritional care for transplant patients in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Provides outpatient documentation and charging that aligns with hospital/department standards.
Collaborates to optimize clinic productivity and reduce the impact of no-shows.
Adheres to hospital and departmental policies, fostering a cooperative work environment.
Demonstrates personal responsibility and commitment to customer service, building relationships with patients, customers, and staff.
