Job Description:

Our financial client is looking for a procurement systems analyst to help oversee the IT and Marketing organizations to handle tracking their spending, projects, vendor management, governing their compliance requirements to ensure they are complying with company policy and working with data through their SQL databases. They need to have someone with both P2P experience as well as data analysis experience. It is a fast paced environment so they will need to be able to take initiative in helping oversee these organizations.

1) Must have demonstrated experience using procure-to -pay (P2P) solutions like RFP/RFX tools (Examples: ScanMarket, Netsuite, Ariba)

2) Must have experience with data analysis (working with databases like SQL or Tableau)

3) Strong excel and Microsoft suite experience

*Certifications are nice to have: Certified Purchasing manager (C.P.M) or Certified Professional in Supply management (CPSM)

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

• Design, implement, communicate and administrate procurement systems and technology, including governance in compliance with all company policies, data, and data management, reporting and transactional support
• Data analytics/report writing are key objectives for this role. Pivot tables, SQL etc.
• Leverage technology solutions to ensure consistency, scalability, data accuracy and improve the efficiency and productivity of Procurement
• Manage and maintain up-to-date item master data, supplier information, ordering catalogs, workflows, and contract data
• Responsible for strategic purchasing of assigned categories (ex., Marketing and IT)
• Track and report identified non-compliance to procurement policy and procedures.
• Influence vendors and business partners to ensure compliance with procurement policy and procedures
• Partner with Treasury and Finance to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of procure to pay process
• Collaborate with Vendor Management team to ensure compliance with policy and procedures for contracting
• Perform other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of professional level procurement experience
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well across all levels and functions in the company
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and analytical and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding time management skills and ability to work on multiple projects in parallel
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Program management skills
• Proficient with Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio or Lucid charts)
• Flexible and open to change
• Proactive, self-starter, willingness to learn

Preferred

• Demonstrated expertise using procure-to-pay (P2P) solutions like NetSuite and ScanMarket
• MBA or other advanced degree
