Atomic Design is Hiring an Assembly Technician Near Elizabethtown, PA

Position Objective
Be part of the core assembly team for all Atomic Homes Projects

Core Responsibilities

  • Familiar with overall Homes production process.
  • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
  • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
  • Aid in the fabrication, maintenance, and repair of parts and/or equipment.
  • Ensuring quality control requirements are maintained throughout the production process.
  • Maintain supplies inventory; anticipating needs; expediting orders and verifying receipts.
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
  • Provide skilled contributions in any ATOMIC Profit Center and position as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of a safety culture.

Reporting and Organizational Relationships

  • The Assembly Technician reports to the Director of Floor Operations.

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Multidisciplined skillset (e.g., carpentry, electricity, plumbing and HVAC).
  • Ability to use to tools and machines within a manufacturing facility
  • Ability to read drawings, blueprints and ground plans.

Credentials & Experience

  • 2 years of applicable fabrication, manufacturing, construction or related experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Those necessary for general manufacturing work.

Work Environment

  • Typical manufacturing environment for the majority of the time with occasional offsite work at industry-based venues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $22.00 per hour
