Atomic Design is Hiring an Assembly Technician Near Elizabethtown, PA
Position Objective
Be part of the core assembly team for all Atomic Homes Projects
Core Responsibilities
- Familiar with overall Homes production process.
- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
- Aid in the fabrication, maintenance, and repair of parts and/or equipment.
- Ensuring quality control requirements are maintained throughout the production process.
- Maintain supplies inventory; anticipating needs; expediting orders and verifying receipts.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
- Provide skilled contributions in any ATOMIC Profit Center and position as needed.
- Contribute to the development of a safety culture.
Reporting and Organizational Relationships
- The Assembly Technician reports to the Director of Floor Operations.

- Multidisciplined skillset (e.g., carpentry, electricity, plumbing and HVAC).
- Ability to use to tools and machines within a manufacturing facility
- Ability to read drawings, blueprints and ground plans.

Credentials & Experience
- 2 years of applicable fabrication, manufacturing, construction or related experience.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Those necessary for general manufacturing work.
Work Environment
- Typical manufacturing environment for the majority of the time with occasional offsite work at industry-based venues.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 - $22.00 per hour
