Description
We are currently hiring a full-time Cash Application Specialist. We are seeking an organized and motivated person with proven office experience to join the accounting staff.
Atlas Companies consists of four different divisions: Atlas Bobcat, Atlas Toyota Material Handling, Atlas International Lift Trucks, and Atlas First Access. We are an authorized Toyota Forklift Dealer and Bobcat Dealer and also provide a variety of other material handling and warehouse solutions for companies of all sizes.
Your New Role:
- Review and post high volumes of cash, ACH/wire, credit card and check remittances from customers
- File documents pertaining to customers that have been assigned to an outside collection agency
- Complete online filing of UCCs as needed
- Match payments to the appropriate invoices to ensure payment is applied correctly
- General office and other duties as assigned
Requirements
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- High School Diploma or equivalent degree
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other web-based applications
- High degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
- Initiate communication professionally and courteously
- Previous office/credit experience is a plus
- Ability to problem solve and multitask
- Must exhibit the Atlas Core Values and present a positive and respectful professional image towards customers and co-workers
