We are actively seeking a talented Java Developer, ideally with specialized expertise in PeopleSoft to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications, with a strong focus on PeopleSoft and Oracle integration. Pay Band: $135,000 - $140,000

You Will:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications, ensuring high-quality and scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Integrate Java applications seamlessly with PeopleSoft, ensuring efficient data flow and interoperability.
• Leverage PeopleSoft development tools and APIs to enhance application functionality.
• Design and implement web services and APIs to facilitate communication between Java applications and PeopleSoft.
• Ensure secure and efficient data exchange between systems.
• Develop and optimize database queries to interact with PeopleSoft databases.
• Collaborate with database administrators to ensure optimal database performance.
• Conduct thorough unit testing and participate in system and user acceptance testing.
• Address and resolve issues identified during the testing phases.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including code documentation, integration specifications, and deployment procedures.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions to ensure team members are well-versed in Java and PeopleSoft integration best practices.

You Have:

• Must be a United States Citizen.
• Must possess and maintain a Public Trust or Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security Clearance..
• Security Certificate
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Java Developer with a focus on PeopleSoft integration.
• Strong understanding of PeopleSoft development tools, APIs, and integration methodologies.
• Solid knowledge of Java development, web services, and database interactions.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience as a Java Developer with PeopleSoft integration experience.
• Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining Java applications with PeopleSoft integration.
• Previous experience in a role that involves interfacing Java applications with PeopleSoft is advantageous.
