Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Successful candidates will work with experience professional consultants in performing environmental assessment and remediation projects related to petroleum and other industrial chemical releases.
Candidates must be willing to work both as part of a team and independently in the office as well as in the field on small to large projects. Motivated candidates willing to learn and grow within an organization that has potential for advancement should apply.
Performance of site investigations to support environmental projects, including the interpretation of environmental data and report writing.
Analysis of sampling data, including summary tables, result interpretation, and sample location maps.
Conduct and document field activities such as soil and groundwater sampling, installation of soil borings and monitoring wells, interviews, and tank excavations and/or removals.
Preparation of technical reports.
Minimum Requirements:
BS in Geology, Engineering or Environmental Science
0-3 years related environmental consulting experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred 40-hour Hazwoper
Ability to work effectively on multiple assignments
Capable of working independently, under direct supervision of others, and in a team-orientated environment
Valid Driver's license and ability to pass a MVR
Commitment to safety
Technical Requirements:
Ability to document clearly field activities conducted
Other Miscellaneous Qualities:
75% field work, 25% office work
Ability/willingness to travel and perform moderately strenuous tasks
Microsoft PC applications: Word, Excel
