An established day habilitation is currently seeking Direct Support Professionals for individuals with developmental disabilities in Westchester. Candidates looking to create advancements in their professional careers are encouraged to apply directly to this job posting.

The base pay range for this position is $15 to $18 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer. Responsibilities:

• Supervise and offer direction within different household and local environments to guarantee the well-being and security of individuals under the instructor's care.
• Adhere to the individual's plan for developmental services.
• Safely transport individuals to different locations in the community.
• Assist individuals in acquiring and sustaining practical abilities.
• Aid individuals in cultivating connections with diverse community members.
• Help individuals in accomplishing tasks across different settings.
• Maintain records encompassing individual summaries, monthly observations, petty cash, and vehicle mileage.

Requirements:

• GED – High School Diploma
• Experience working with developmentally disabled individuals
• Driver's License
