Position Title: HR Coordinator

About the Role:
We are currently seeking an HR Coordinator with a can-do attitude to join our team at Atlas HQ based in San Ramon, CA. This role is an essential part of the team as its duties and responsibilities are directly impactful to the business operations nationwide. The majority of your time would be spent communicating with new hires and guiding them through the onboarding process, communicating with Human Resources team members in the client locations, and enforcing policies and procedures, while also fostering the Atlas company culture and communicating with current employees to facilitate their engagement with the company.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Badging
● Act as the primary contact for all badging-related activities
● Maintain meticulously accurate data and status updates for all badging-related activities
● Maintain accuracy of badging binder, documents, and processes
● Foster relationship with client HR contacts, laboratories, and vendors critical to Atlas HR business
● Identify and foster relationships with laboratories for badging purposes
● Maintain clear and professional communications with facility contacts for badging purposes
● Create and audit personnel files
● Maintain HR document inventory (e.g. new hire packets, benefit handouts, workers compensation kits)
● Coordinate laundry service of scrubs and ordering/inventory
● Actively attend and participate in various committees
● Support our goal to be as paperless as possible and other various corporate initiatives
Employee Engagement
● Prepare/Edit company newsletter and other internal publications
● Create/Edit HR marketing materials to support recruitment initiatives and employee communication
● Track employee birthdays and anniversaries and facilitate recognition
● Manage employee recognition activities as needed (e.g. certificates, plaques, gift cards)
● Research and identify employee engagement opportunities
● Support employee development initiatives (e.g. LinkedIn Learning, webinars, etc.)
● Communicate news and reminders company wide
● Communicate thoughts and ideas to make the company an even better place to work
General Support
● Support the Recruitment Department and other departments for HR/Ops initiatives
● Act as the back-up for the office manager during his/her absence
Skills and Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree preferred
● Possess the ability to communicate with a variety of individuals exercising confidentiality and discretion at all times. Must have excellent verbal and written skills.
● Superb ability to multitask and prioritize without sacrificing accuracy
● Excellent organizational skills required
● Extreme attention to detail and ability to proofread and edit with great accuracy
● Demonstrated service-oriented approach to performing responsibilities required
● High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
● Proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver projects and tasks
● Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe software
● Ability to work autonomously
● Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
● Ability to lift up to 20 lbs, sit for up to 8-hours per day
● Ability to travel as needed
● Experience working in a fast-pace office setting is a big plus
● Administrative experience on ADP WorkforceNow, SAP Litmos, or MyHipaaTraining is a plus
● Formsite and Social Media experience a plus
