Atlas IPS Seeks Part-Time Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Athletic Trainer

We help clients financially evaluate the situation, define the appropriate strategy, and tailor a program as needed.
Position Summary
Atlas IPS is currently looking for a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Certified Athletic Trainer to join our onsite team in the Amityville, NY area to provide injury prevention services. The position is 10 hours per week in two 5-hour shifts between 11a-4p with some flexibility in work schedule. The position will be responsible for triage and first aid of musculoskeletal concerns, education and job coaching, and ergonomic stressor analysis and solution development.
Qualifications:
* Must be located near or willing to travel to Amityville, NY
* Must be certified in the State of New York.
* Experience with musculoskeletal injury triage/early intervention is highly preferred.
* Experience working within an industrial and office environment is highly preferred.
* Experience in ergonomic analysis and solution development is highly preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
* Conducting assessments of employee musculoskeletal concerns. If appropriate, developing an action plan, addressing symptoms under OHSA allowable first aid, and provide worksite coaching.
* Perform industrial and office ergonomic risk assessment and basic solution development.
* Provide job coaching and education in proper body mechanics, stretching and general wellness.
