The Role

Atlas Copco is looking for a Site Manager to spearhead the service operations at our on-site repair center, ensuring the attainment of our strategic objectives with our customer, Volvo.As a working manager, you will communicate across all levels of our and our customer's organization and coordinate all tool-related activities onsite.

Some additional responsibilities include:

  • Prepare KPI reports, such as capacity planning, on-time delivery, turn-around-time, quality, and labor costs, and present reports to leadership and the customer
  • Maintain quality control procedures
  • Understand and execute obligations of the service contract with the customer
  • Coordinate scheduled PM and Calibration activities, while maintaining 100% accuracy
  • Maintain 100% on customer audits with no minor or major findings
  • Identify and implement cost savings activities
  • Inspect cleanliness of Atlas Copco areas and ensure safety standards are met

You will report daily to our customer's, Volvo, Hagerstown, MD manufacturing facility, but will require up to 5% travel nationally for training purposes.

What we expect of you

  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in a production environment, working with manufacturing automation, assembly tooling or data collection systems
  • Experience managing necessary repair equipment for production tooling
  • Experience managing accurate inventory levels
  • Customer service experience
  • Experience with cost savings projects, preferred
  • Experience resolving tooling, production, and personnel issues
  • Have a practical leadership style and desire for continuous learning concepts
