Seeking a Behavior Consultant who understands that quality, professionalism, and compassion are of utmost importance!
You will be listed as a contractor receiving clients through Indiana’s Medicaid Waiver under the supervision of the Director of Behavior Management.
As the Behavior Consultant, you will provide direct and indirect services to consumers, their families, their staff, and/or caregivers that is focused on the individuals Person Centered Individual Support Plan. The primary responsibility will be to help clients identify and address problem behaviors through the creation and implementation of a Functional Assessment and Behavior Support Plan. The goal of the Behavior Consultant is to decrease maladaptive behaviors by working with the client and his/her team to teach appropriate replacement behaviors. Therapists are able to maintain their own schedules to meet their specific needs. You will have a chance to build a caseload that works around that schedule.
As a contracted therapist, you will have full autonomy on therapeutic interventions and techniques used to work towards completing individual goals and objectives.
Responsibilities include:
Master’s Degree in Behavior Analysis, Clinical, School, or other applied health service area of Psychology; Special Education; Social Work; or Counseling.
May also be a licensed marriage and family therapist, clinical social worker, or licensed mental health counselor.
