Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Behavior Consultant to join our team. As a Behavior Consultant, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized support and guidance to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. Your expertise in patient assessment, BSP development, staff training, and behavioral health interventions will be essential in delivering high-quality services. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities
-Teach replacement behaviors and skills
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and holistic care
- Utilize medical records and maintain accurate documentation of patient progress
- Implement evidence-based practices, including applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques
- Monitor and evaluate treatment effectiveness, making necessary adjustments as needed
- Provide training and guidance to staff members on best practices for working with individuals with special needs and BSP training.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field (special education, applied behavior analysis, psychology, social work, behavioral health, etc.)
- Minimum of 1 years of experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health principles
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in complex situations
- Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- A report of "no findings" when criminal history checks are completed.
Provide copies of resumé, transcripts, and other documentation proving qualifications
Must complete required trainings and orientation.

This is an independet contractor role to serve individuals in Marion, IN and surrounding counties. This is an in-home and community-based role. You will need a reliable vehicle.
