Atlas Asset Management is Hiring a Construction Project Manager Near Chicago, IL

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious Construction Project Manager to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various construction projects from planning to completion. This position will provide the candidate with exposure to all aspects of construction project management including budgeting, scheduling, quality control, and client relations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and implementation of construction projects.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists.
  • Contribute to preparing and managing project budgets and schedules.
  • Help ensure that projects adhere to approved plans, specifications, and legal requirements.
  • Assist in managing project resources and procurements.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, contractors, and team members regarding project status.
  • Participate in conducting site inspections and monitor construction progress to ensure quality control.
  • Assist in identifying, evaluating, and resolving any issues, delays, or problems that may affect the project.
  • Support the preparation of reports on project progress and other related documentation.
  • Assist with project closeout, including obtaining necessary permits and certificates.

Requirements:

  • Experience in construction, engineering, or project management (internship experience is applicable).
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Basic proficiency in construction software such as Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, or equivalent.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to various job sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
