Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3 years’ experience in managing Accounting department
- SAP experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Sharepoint and PowerPoint software applications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a team player, adept at building Relationships across the organization
- Commitment to continuous process improvement
- Well-developed analytic and problem-solving skills
- High energy and a desire to be part of a high performing team
- Understanding and prior experience with GAAP accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls is preferred
- Experience in Manufacturing, distribution, ecommerce and or retail is a plus
Job Description:
The Accountant will be responsible for various activities in the accounting department and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Monthly, quarterly, and annual close. Making sure to complete tasks on time, including making sure all account reconciliations are reviewed, completed and tied to financial statements prior to month/year end closing dates
- Weekly Cash Management reporting
- Manage and file quarterly Sales and Use tax reports
- Manage the Company credit card, including reconciliation.
- Manage intercompany transactions
- Assist in Annual Fiscal Year Audit
- Special Projects as needed and oversee all operational areas of accounting
