Atlantic Medical Imaging is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the growing Accounting team in the Corporate Office location. AMI is a physician owned, cutting-edge outpatient, full service imaging practice with over 25 offices throughout New Jersey and 900 employees. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, innovative, and dynamic practice.

The Senior Accountant is responsible for participating in the monthly general ledger close process, preparing and reviewing routine and non-routine journal entries, budget variance analysis, account reconciliations, support audits and annual tax filings.

This full time, salaried position includes an anticipated work schedule of Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm. The position is based in AMI's Corporate Office in West Atlantic City, NJ. Schedules are subject to change based on business and department needs.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, with at least five (5) years of financial accounting professional work experience. Healthcare accounting experience is a plus. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are also required for success in this position.
Qualified candidates have exceptional attention to detail and demonstrate critical thinking skills. Responsibilities within this position include problem solving and determining creative solutions by way of outside-the-box thinking. Candidates must have well-developed interpersonal skills and exceptional verbal & written communication. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and is able to make progress on multiple assignments while meeting deadlines. Candidates should be effective leaders who can effectively direct a workforce, provide support, as well as delegate duties when necessary.
