Atlantic Group is Hiring a System Analyst Near Quincy, MA

System Analyst

The System Analyst will lead a small team responsible for reporting and security administration. They ensure projects are completed in a timely and accurate manner by communicating with IT staff and by facilitating meetings with the IT department, Business Analysts, and executives. The IT Manager collaborates with the IT department to outline system testing plans, changes, and enhancements to improve the Companies systems and processes.. This role is hybrid 3 days a week in office in Quincy, MA.

Responsibilities

  • IT Manager is a key contributor in the assessment, assignment, and follow through of System Investigation Report requests.
  • This role will create team KPI's.
  • Manage technologies and provide administrative assistance for various systems
  • Maintain strong relationships with the IT department, Business Analysts, and executives to effectively obtain specifications for Developers, Networking, and/or other IT staff members to ensure System Investigation Reports are completed accurately and on time.
  • Develop project plans and manage project through completion. Follow project post-mortems to identify areas that worked well or need improvement.
  • Support various departments in developing prototypes of specified ideas and in writing final specifications
  • Keep the IT department, Business Analysts, and executives apprised of the status of projects, asking for support as needed, while balancing the IT project lists with other departments’ lists.
  • Oversee all System Investigation Report requests by assigning requests to IT staff and monitoring workflow process.

Qualifications

  • A good understanding of Property and Casualty Insurance/Insurance and insurance related technology
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field
  • 2 years of business analyst experience.
  • 2 years of experience with Insurance related technologies
  • Experience with SQL querying
  • Strong technical problem solving and communication skills
