Atlantic Eye Physicians is Hiring an Ophthalmic Technician Near Eatontown, NJ
- Obtain a thorough and concise patient history, including relevant medical, ocular, and family history, to assist in the evaluation and diagnosis of eye conditions
- Record visual acuity measurements using standardized testing methods, ensuring precise documentation of patients' visual function for diagnostic and treatment purposes
- Perform manifest refractions with precision and efficiency, utilizing specialized equipment and techniques to determine the optimal refractive correction for patients with refractive errors
- Conduct intraocular pressure (IOP) measurements using tonometry techniques
- Accurately document examination findings, diagnostic test results, and treatment plans as directed
- Must be willing to travel between our four offices
- Must Embrace a patient-first mindset
- Possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Be a team player
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in responding to the dynamic needs of the practice, including willingness to travel between multiple office locations as needed
- High school diploma or GED
- Certification preferred, but not required.
