Experienced and energetic Medical Assistant with strong attention to detail sought for a busy ENT practice with an excellent work environment. Office locations in Orange City, Lake Mary, and DeLand.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing patients and rooms for examination and treatment
• Documenting medical history information in EMR
• Organizing and maintaining medical supplies and equipment
• Scheduling follow up and testing appointments
• Answering phone calls and responding to patient requests
• Obtaining authorization from insurance companies for tests
• Coordinating care with facilities and other medical practices
• Assisting medical providers with patient care and communication
• Following up with Lab tracking, faxes, voicemails, referral tracking, etc.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Medical Assistant training - Certified Medical Assistant preferred
• Medical office experience
• Computer system experience
• Spanish speaking is a plus
