ADMS is currently seeking an experienced Dialysis Nurse Practitioner to work in our Ridgewood Dialysis location. The Dialysis Nurse Practitioner must have dialysis experience. No training will be provided.

General Description:

A dialysis nurse practitioner provides primary care to patients with acute or chronic kidney/urologic disorders, those undergoing dialysis, and those who are candidates for or have undergone kidney transplants.

Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Advanced knowledge in nephrology that includes pathophysiology and management of kidney/urologic conditions and their complications.

· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills

· Sensitivity to the needs of patients and their families as they deal with chronic renal disease and its impact

· Ability to teach patients about renal disease, treatment, and lifestyle changes

· Ability to deal with grief and loss that can be associated with renal disease

· Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team

Position Qualifications:

· New York State RN License, Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing program

· 1 year experience as a Dialysis Nurse Practitioner preferably

• Certified Nurse Practitioner License
• NYS RN License
• Req. BLS, ACLS

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $110,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
