We are looking for a reliable RN ( Registered Nurse ) Weekend Supervisor to care for our residents in a professional and considerate manner. You - the RN - will work in a warm environment under the supervision of our Director of Nursing. The ideal candidate will be an RN ( Registered Nurse ) experienced in providing diverse basic care to those who need it while remaining patient and calm.

We are also willing to train brand new RN 's ( Registered Nurse 's)!

Baylor program 7-3 & 3-11, work 32 get payed for 40hrs.

Responsibilities

• Record a patient’s medical history accurately
• Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
• Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc.
• Monitor patients’ condition including fluid intake and output and compose patient charts
• Assist ailing patients in daily necessary activities such as eating, bathing etc.
• Administer prescribed medications, injections, enemas etc., clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasks
• Collect samples for lab testing as assigned
• Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
• Communicate with patients’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort and release instructions

Skills

• Proven experience as an RN ( Registered Nurse ) or new graduate RN ( Registered Nurse )
• Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
• RN ( Registered Nurse ) with familiarity with long term care safety and sanitation standards and procedures preffered
• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
• Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate

The RN ( Registered Nurse ) must have a current Registered Nurse ( RN ) license
