Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Bakery Assistant to join our team. The Bakery Assistant will support both the Pastry Department and Lunch Department in preparing and producing baked goods and lunch items. The shift begins at 6 a.m. with Sundays guaranteed off every week; however, Saturday availability is required.

Duties:
- Largescale production of various pastry items including scones, cookies, muffin batters and bars
-Sandwich, salad and soup prep

- Preparing and frying cruller donuts
- Assistance with dish washing and organizing
- Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment
- Operate baking equipment such as mixers, ovens, and scales

Experience:
- Previous experience in a bakery or food preparation setting is preferred
- Knowledge of baking equipment
- Ability to manage time efficiently

-Ability to follow recipes accurately
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy trays

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
