Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, project scheduling, and electrical systems. Responsibilities:
- Oversee electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate project requirements
- Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Interpret construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints to guide project execution
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and provide technical guidance
Skills:
- Proficiency in HeavyBid and ProCore software for project management
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and electrical construction practices
- Experience in construction estimating and budget management
- Expertise in project scheduling and resource allocation
- Familiarity with contract negotiation and administration
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration
