Our practice, the Atlanta Interventional Institute/Atlanta Fibroid Center has new opening for a Front Office. Our providers are Interventional Radiologists and we specialize in the treatment of fibroids. This year we're adding knee embolization to our service line.
The Atlanta Interventional Institute is internationally known for fibroid treatment and our state-of-the-art procedure suite utilizes equipment rarely found outside of a hospital setting. We take great pride in our reputation for clinical and customer service excellence. We're looking for someone to join our Front Office Team.
The right candidate will have an energetic and positive personality. We need someone who can express a positive, compassionate, and upbeat tone on the telephone or even via text. As a subspecialty practice, our front office staff complete patient intake, enter patient data into our medical software system; obtain medical records; schedule patients; perform check-out tasks and coordinate care with outside facilities. The position features patient outreach as we discuss our scope of care with patients
A unique feature of our Front Office is that they also serve as ambassadors and educators for our patients, so this is the right fit for someone who enjoys patient interaction via phone, email, text, and of course in person.
The best fit is for someone who has worked in a medical subspecialty environment, especially with a practice that performs in-office procedures. We need someone who demonstrates professionalism not only in their work effort, but in their ability to communicate complex information to patients in a way that is informative and compassionate.
Our practice hires those who have experience working front desk for a very busy private medical practice. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, who maintains composure, and enjoys working directly with patients.
A stable work history demonstrating experience working in a medical outpatient practice is required.
Preference will be given to bi-lingual (English-Spanish) candidates.
Responsibilities include:
Scheduling patients according to practice protocols

Reaching out to provide education to consumers who have indicated an interest in receiving care at our practice
Coordination of care with outside diagnostic testing facilities
On-site collection of co-payments, co-insurance, and/or balances due at the time of service
Requirements for Consideration:
A work history that demonstrates stability and reliability
A positive and enthusiastic attitude
Prior directly-related experience working with an outpatient private medical practice
Dedication to learning about our specialty and the care we provide
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally by phone, email, text and any other form of verbal or written communication
Demonstrated ability to pay attention to detail
Proven ability to organize and prioritize tasks
A desire to work as a part of a team to reach shared goals
