Job PurposeThe Enrollment Manager is responsible for managing the full-cycle admissions process from application submission to enrollment. The role serves as a point of responsibility and contact for internal and external key stakeholders for Secondary School Admissions for both local and international day or boarding students.

Responsibilities
  • Actively maintains prospect pipeline beginning with first contact; once an application is submitted, actively completes incomplete applications, moving completed applications to review, and once a decision is made, notifying families.
  • Ensures a world-class experience for prospective parents and students by providing excellent customer service, including answering applicant parents’ questions throughout the application process
  • Support admissions events (e.g., Open Houses, Information Sessions, Virtual Programs) both during and outside of regular school hours
  • Gives tours, attends domestic and international fairs and feeder school events, representing the school and disseminating appropriate information to prospective parents and other interested parties.
  • Gathers and analyzes demographic research, leverages current relationships in territory, identifies and grows potential markets through partnerships with educational consultants and placement directors around the globe
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of all admissions records, tracks applicant status, and assists applicants in the admissions and enrollment process.
  • Works closely with marketing developing and updating content for new family webpage and new parent portal
  • Manages content for customer experience journey from new inquiry to enrollment
  • Manages weekly newsletter for prospective and new families highlighting school events, program and other relevant information
  • Collaborates with marketing on creation of marketing collateral needed for recruitment and admissions
  • Spends time in classrooms and at school events getting to know programs, faculty and parents
  • Include organizing, building and managing the calendar for Secondary School Admission Sessions and assessments, working in close collaboration with the other Admission Managers to develop the full department calendar
  • Works cooperatively with the IT, Secondary School Leadership and Admissions team to provide appropriate data for purposes of reporting and research.
  • Support retention and re-enrollment of current students
  • Other duties as assigned by Head of Enrollment Management
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Previous marketing experience preferred
  • Previous boarding school experience and international recruitment experience preferred
  • A commitment to equity and inclusion
  • Exceptional organizational and detail-management skills; the ability to establish and manage multiple priorities; ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Comfortable with nontraditional work hours; has a flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends to attend Information Sessions, Admissions Events and Community Events
  • Availability to travel domestically and internationally representing AIS at fairs and events
  • Displays effectiveness in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders with a collaborative, creative approach to problem-solving
  • Superior follow-up skills with the ability to guide prospects to a positive conclusion.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and drive.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Patience, flexibility, and a sense of humor.
  • Enjoys working in an environment serving children and their parents
  • High level of competency with Veracross or ability to learn
  • Knowledge of IB MYP & DP Curriculum and ability to speak more than one language highly desired
