We are seeking a qualified Histology Technologist III to join our dynamic team. The Histology Technologist III will play a crucial role in providing technical oversight and ensuring standardization across our Histology Laboratory sites. Qualifications:

• Successful completion of a formal training in Histology laboratory technology OR Associates Degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences, plus four (4) years' experience in a clinical laboratory, OR
• Bachelors' degree in Histology technology, or chemical, physical, or biological sciences, plus successful completion of a specialist certification exam with a total of five (5) years' experience in a pathology lab with 1 year being current at Northside Hospital Inc. in a HT II position
• Associates Degree plus ten (10) years' experience in a histology clinical laboratory
• State-recognized certification as a Histology Technologist within 18 months of employment as a HT in the state of GA
• Demonstrate skills as described in the promotion path guidelines
• Must submit to and pass a Color-Acuity screening Test
• Completion of Histology technologist training
• ASCP certification is required

Responsibilities:

• Assist Pathology Laboratory Coordinator on technical oversight of one or more laboratory sections to provide technical standardization at all Histology Laboratory sites
• Implement and perform clinical laboratory procedures according to proper standards and regulations
