About Us: Alan Auto Repair is a reconditioning facility for used vehicles to get them front line ready for used car dealerships.

Position Overview: We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced mechanic to fill a full-time position at our recon center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a keen attention to detail and a passion for delivering top-notch service. This position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of vehicles and tackle challenging repairs in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with precision and efficiency.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and tools to accurately diagnose vehicle issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and provide recommendations for preventative maintenance.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest automotive technology and industry trends.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a mechanic, with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and service skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
