Atlanta Addiction Medical is a new addiction medicine clinic planning on opening July of 2024. We are looking for licensed clinicans with the knowledge and passion to help our patients overcome substance abuse. We will be offering IOP, OP, and MAT treatment first and will be expanding to offer mroe services in the near future. Candidates should be ready and motivated to take on leadership roles and responsibilities to help build the organization from bottom up.

We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our team at our new Addication Medicine Practice. The ideal candidate will provide mental health counseling and support to patients in need. This role requires a compassionate individual with strong interpersonal skills and a dedication to improving the well-being of others. We are looking for someone with experience working with adults battling substance abuse disorders. This role is for a candidate who has passion for their work and is ready for a leadership role.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct patient assessments to determine mental health needs

- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique situation

- Provide individual and group therapy sessions

- Offer case management services to ensure comprehensive care for patients

- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with coding standards

- Participate in clinical research activities to advance knowledge in the field

Experience:

- Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience in mental health counseling

- Proficiency in ICD-9 coding for accurate documentation

- Strong background in conducting patient assessments and developing treatment plans

- Experience in group therapy sessions and case management

- Knowledge of PTSD care techniques and clinical research methodologies
