Trucking Dispatch Customer Service Representative
Duties:
- Provide excellent customer service by answering incoming calls and responding to customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Assist customers with transportation planning and management, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods.
- Utilize transportation management systems to track shipments and manage fleet operations.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrate strong phone etiquette and communication skills to effectively assist customers.
- Utilize GIS and GPS technologies to provide accurate information on transportation routes and schedules.
- Familiarity with SyteLine software to manage customer orders and inventory.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly on your feet.
- Proficient in using phone systems and other communication tools.
- Knowledge of transportation planning and fleet management is a plus.
- Familiarity with GIS and GPS technologies is an advantage.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
